In shoe business since beginning of active career; became traveling' salesman for Michigan Shoe Co., then city salesman and secretary and treasurer same company since 1909. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Republican. Member Palestine Lodge, No. 357, F. & A. M.; King Cyrus Chapter, No. 133, B. A. M.; Detroit Commandery, No. 1, K. T.; Moslem Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S.
