BLOOM, George A., secretary Marx Market Co.; born, Detroit, Oct. 11, 1877; son of Adam E. and Rose (Friedlander) Bloom; educated Detroit public and high schools; LL.B., Detroit College of Law, 1899; married Cora Marx, of Detroit, Dee. 4, 1906; two children: Howard A., Dorothy W. Began practice in Detroit, 1899; went to Washington, D. C., and was employed in U. S. Census Bureau and U. S. Postoffice, 1899-1902; returned to Detroit and resumed practice of law; became connected with the Marx Market Co. and has served as secretary and director since Oct., 1910. Was deputy county clerk of Wayne Co., 1905-8, inclusive. Republican. Member Temple Beth El. Office: 25 Cadillac Ave. Residence: 301 Putnam Ave.
