BELL, Walter E., president and general manager Stewart, Bell & Stewart, Inc.; born, Detroit, Mar. 11, 1878; son of Walter Jerome and Minnie (Rammie) Bell; educated in public and high schools of Detroit, and Detroit Business College; married Katherine Campbell, of Goderich, Ont., Can., Jan. 29, 1901; three children: Katherine, Dorothy, Jean. Has been identified with the eleetrotyping business ever since beginning of active career; started as clerk Peninsular Engraving Co. and became manager electrotyping department; in business for self as president and general manager Stewart, Bell & Stewart, Inc., since Mar. 1910. Republican. Presbyterian. Member Detroit Board of Commerce, Detroit Allied Printing Trades' Association. Recreation: fishing. Office: 11-17 Woodbridge St. W. Residence: 329 Helen Ave.
