BELL, Alexander, manager Victor Electric Supply Co.; born, Detroit, Sept. 16, 1879; son of David and Lavinia (Kew) Bell; educated in public schools, Detroit; High School, Richmond, Mich.; married, May 18, 1905, Lela Markle, of Oxford, Mich.; one son, Robert Donald. Began active career in employ of Chas. H. Strelinger Co., machinery and tools, continuing two years; with electrical department, Detroit United Ry., 1901-2; with Michigan Electric Co., 1902-4; was connected with H. L. Walker & Co., electrical supplies, 1904-12; salesman J. W. McNair Electric Co., 1912-13; one of organizers, 1913, of Victor Electric Supply Co., of which is manager; director J. W. McNair Electric Co. Independent in politics. Presbyterian. Member Detroit Engineering Society. Recreation: fishing. Office: 207 Jefferson Ave. Residence: 128 Collingwood Ave.
