BECK, John Charles, production manager; born, Rockford. Ill., Sept. 27, 1879; son John C. and Elizabeth (Biedirt) Beck; educated public schools, Chicago; married, Sept. 9, 1899, Marie A. Scuitzen, of Chicago; two children: Marie, Ruth. Began active career with Stromberg, Carlson Manufacturing Co., Chicago, continuing four years; then with the Sterling Electric Co., Lafayette, Ind., 1900-1; with Turner Brass Works, Chicago, 1901-5, and McCord Manufacturing Co., Chicago, removing to Detroit for the company Christmas, 1908; has been with the Autoparts Manufacturing Co. since 1909, as production manager. Republican. Baptist. Mason; member Order Eastern Star, Odd Fellows, Rebeccas. Recreation: fishing. Office: 441-479 Trombly Ave. Residence: 150 Mt. Vernon Ave.
