BEACH, George H., life insurance expert; born, Green Oak, Mich., Mar. 2, 1873; son of George W. and. Retta (Judson) Beach; science course, Agricultural College of North Dakota; two years, Medical Department, University of Michigan, class of 1899, then left college to become a salesman; married, 1901, Louise Alsdorf, of Lansing, Mich. (died, 1903); two children: Helen Louise and Elizabeth; second, Jan. 1, 1907, Grace Holman, of Rochester, Ind.; two children: George Holman and Margaret Louise. Served as state agent for the Canada Life Assurance Co. for Michigan, 1902-7; resigned and since associated with Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co., Detroit agency. Also interested in real estate in suburban town, Royal Oak. Member School Board, Royal Oak. Independent in politics. Congregationalist. Member Corinthian Lodge, A. F. & A. M. Recreation: gardening. Office: 80 Griswold St. Residence: Royal Oak, Mich.
