BARLOW, Walter, lawyer; born, Wayne Co., Mich., Sept. 20, 1854; son of Caleb J. and Margaret (Spaun) Barlow; educated in public schools, State Normal School, Ypsilanti, and Law Department, University of Michigan, degree LL.B., 1881; married, Detroit, June 23, 1909, Bathia S. Mercer. Has practiced in Detroit since Sept. 8, 1882; assistant corporation counsel since 1908. Served in 32d Michigan Volunteer Infantry, Spanish American War; now lieutenant colonel 1st Infantry, Michigan National Guard. Democrat Member Association Bar City of Detroit, Detroit Camp No. 10, U. S. War Veterans. Office: City Hall. Residence: 56 E. Hancock Ave.
