(Townsend) Barber; father's ancestors of New York state, mother's of Canada; educated in public schools, Saginaw; East Side High School; Trinity Chapel School, New York; Phillips Andover Academy, Andover, Mass.; married, Nov. 25, 1912, Gertrude Pegler, of Detroit. Traveling salesman, with Alaska Coast and Alaska Pacific Steamship companies, Seattle, Wash., two years; distributor for E. M. F. Automobile Co., at Saginaw, Mich., 1907-9; state representative Brush Runabout Co., 1909-10; state distributor Briggs Detroiter Co., 1911-12; president and manager Barber Motor Sales Co., since 1912. Episcopalian. Member K. O. A. Society (Phillips Academy). Club: Wolverine Automobile. Recreation: motor touring. Office: 799-801 Woodward Ave. Residence: 108 Palmer Ave. E.
