Y., 1878; married, 1881, Minnie K. Brown, of Troy, N. Y. (died, 1904); one daughter, Grace L. Chief engineer King Iron Bridge Co., Cleveland, 1878-80; chief engineer, Cleveland, Lorain & Wheeling R. R. Co., at Cleveland, 1880-85; mining engineer, Casino Mining Co., Idaho Springs, Colo., 1885-87; engineer National Carbon Co., Cleveland, 1887-92; constructing engineer, Semet Solvay Co., Syracuse, N. Y., 1892-1901; located in Detroit, 1903; consulting engineer, Smith, Hinchman & Grylis, architects and engineers, since 1906. Republican. Methodist.
