AUSTIN, Albert S., manufacturers' agent; born, Xenia, O., Sept. 21, 1846; son of Loreuzo B. and Ann E. (Stewart) Austin; educated public schools of Akron and Hudson, O., and Peekskil, N. Y.; married, Flora G. Kent, of Akron, O., Jan., 1873; two children: Kent M., Grace A. (Mrs. G. B. Wightman). Has been a resident of Detroit since 1873; became connected, 1888, with the Austin Powder Co. (headquarters in Cleveland), and has ever since been identified with the company, of which is now vice president. Republican. Baptist. Office: 423 Trussed Concrete Bldg. Residence: 2445 W. Grand Boul.
