ATCHESON, Norman Swain, architect; born, St. Louis, Oct. 12, 1876; son of Capt. George Atcheson, U. S. A., and Alice E. (Clark) Atcheson; descended from early Pilgrim ancestry, in Massachusetts, and grandson of John P. Clark, Detroit, about 1812; educated St. Louis and Detroit schools; University of Michigan, 1896-97; Art Students' League, New York, 1899 and. 1900; married, Oct. 13, 1900, Daisy N. Kellam, of Detroit; two children: Douglas and Eleen Rosemary. In Los Angeles, Cal., over one year; with principal architectural firms in New York, eight years, entered firm of Harley & Atcheson, Jan. 10, 1908, dissolved Aug. 1, 1912; since practicing alone. Member Detroit Board of Commerce. Member Delta Upsilon (Michigan Chapter). Member Paleatine Lodge, No. 357, F. & A. M., Detroit. Recreation: outdoor sports. Office: 926-927 Chamber of Commerce. Residence: 352 McGraw Ave.
