ARNOLD, John W., lawyer; born, Allegan, Mich., July 6, 1874; son of Dan J. and Frances (Bassett) Arnold; father, for twenty years judge 20th judicial circuit, Michigan; graduate University of Michigan, and Law Department, June, 1896; married, Dec. 4, 1902, Gertrude Jenkins, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one daughter, Dorothy Elizabeth. Began practice at Ann Arbor, 1896; removed to Detroit, 1902; managing attorney for Mercantile Credit Co., since 1909. Republican. Episcopalian. Member Golden Rule Lodge, No. 159, P. & A. M., Ann Arbor. Recreation: motoring. Office: Suite 715-716 Chamber of Commerce. Residence: Fernando Apartments.
