NELSON WHITE, farmer, and one of the oldest residents of the township of Dundee, was born in Aurora, N. Y.,
February 15, 1807, where he remained until 1832, when he settled in Dundee. lie married Jennie Jenne, February
14, 1838, who was born in Aurora, N. Y., November 8. 1816. Ten children, of whom seven are now living, were born
to them: Parsis, wife of Harvey Shaw; Mary, wife of Amos Goodenberger; Horace; Friend E.; Emily, wife of Henry
Rowley; Delia, wife of David Sellers. In early life Mr. White was captain of a boat on the Erie Canal. He also
served as lieutenant in the Toledo War.
