WILLIAM H. TALCOTT, attorney at law, of Carlton, Mich., was born at Madison, N. Y., February 3, 1840. Came with
his parents to Michigan in 1844. At the age of fifteen years he entered the normal school, graduating in 1869.
Soon after this be began fanning in Nebraska, attending to his farm summers, and teaching winters. Auguit 11, 1880,
married Jennie Reynolds, of Ypsilanti, Mich., who was born at Avon, Ohio. One child, William B., was born to them
July 7, 1881. In 1883 Mr. Talcott entered the law department at Ann Arbor University, from which he graduated in
1886. Was admitted to the bar at LaPorte, Ind. In the spring of 1887 was candidate for circuit judge, 23d Judicial
District, on Prohibition ticket. Came to Canton during the summer of 1887. Address, Canton, Mich.
