LEWIS ROE, son of Dominick and Julia Roe, was born in the town of Erie, Monroe county, Mich., in 1854. His father,
Dominick Roe, was also born in the town of Erie, about the year 1817; he died in 1881. In 1879 Lewis left the town
Erie and located in the town of Dundee on a farm of 40 acres, and remained there until 1876, then purchased 50
acres of land in Summerfield, on which he now resides. He married Miss Sarah Brenar, of Bedford, Mich. They have
three children, two of whom are now living.
