AARON DILLENBACK was born in the town of Stark, Herkimer county, N. Y., in 1824. His parents were Isaac and Nancy Dillenback, who removed to Steuben county, N. Y., in 1841, and settled in the town of Wheeler, and died there, Mrs. D. in 1869 and the husband in 1881. With the exception of four years in Ohio Aaron remained in Wheeler until 1866, when he came to Monroe county, Mich., and purchased the farm of 25 acres in the town of Summerfield to which he removed his family in 1867, and has made this his home to the present time. He married Miss Olive Kelley, of Reedtown, Seneca county, Ohio, formerly of Wheeler, N. Y. They have one daughter, Miss Lillie F. Dillenback.
