William H. Rounds, farmer, sec. 31. Courtland, was born in Jernsalem, Yates Co., N. Y., Oct. 14, 1819. His parents
were Horton and Araminta (Towsley) Rounds. In 1845 he came with his parents to Courtland. He was married in Yates
Co., N. Y., Dec. 26, 1841, to Maria Alden, and had one child Henry C. Mrs. Rounds died Jan. 7, 1851, and he was
again married in May, 1853, to Orlina Morrison, a daughter of William Morrison. This union was blest with one child,
Edwin D. Mr. Rounds owns 80 acres of land, 60 of which he cleared and well improved. Politically he is a Republican.
