William Fitzgerald, farmer, is a native of Upper Canada, Province of Ontario, born Oct. 14, 1818. His father, James Fitzgerald, was of Irish birth; his mother, Rachel Butler, was German by descent. He came to this county in 1858, and June 25, 1841, was married in Upper Canada to Sabra Tyrrell, born in Potora in 1813. They have had four chuldren, of whom three are living: Joel, Mary E. and Edward. Mr. F. has a well improved farm of 80 acres, on sec. 7, whieh he has earned by his own hard and almost unremitting toil. He is a Republican. P. O., Pleasant.
