Robert Dockeray was born Aug. 4, 1829 in Westmoreland, England; is som of Robert and Betty Dockeray. His parents
settled in Orleans Co., N. Y., in 1839 where the father died. Mr. D. was reared on a farm and received a common
school education. He was married in 1854 to Lucy A. White, a native of New York. They have four children living-Robert
H., Alice, George A. and Ella E. Mr. Dockeray owns 160 acres of improved land and is breeding short-horn cattle.
He is Justice of the Peace. P. O., Rockford.
