Joseph Dockeray, was born June 18, 1821, in Westmoreland Co., England; ia son of Robert and Elizabeth Dockeray.
They came to America in 1839 and settled in Orleans Co., N. Y.. where the father died. In 1845 Mr. Dockeray settled
in Cannon, where he is now located and engaged in farming and stock raising. He was married July 2, 1846 to Miss
Elizabeth Pierson, born in 1826. They have five children- Clarence H., Albert A., Chas. R., Wallace P. and Bryant
S. Mr. Dockeray owns 107 acres of good land on sec. 6. P. O. Rockford.
