Oliver Moses came to Bath a tin worker, and with his brother, William V. Moses, kept a stove store, operated
a foundry, and built vessels. He engaged in banking, was instrumental in inducing Bath to invest in the building
of the Knox & Lincoln Railroad, and was chief manager in its construction.
