ROBERT JONES. Upon his removal to the township, Robert Jones purchased of Philip Davenport front lot No. 13 east side, which included the privilege of the Fairbanks stream, upon which mills were built in 1794. Some four years later the mill property passed into the hands of Hartson Cony, and Mr. Jones, having disposed of his real estate, left town. The writer in his researches has failed to find anything in regard to Mr. Jones subsequent history.
