Smith, W. H., is one of the pioneers among the jewelry manufacturers of Attleborough, beginning his apprenticeship
in 1852, and in 1874 organized the firm of Smith & Crosby, of which he is the senior member, and which firm
for more than twenty years has been prominent in the jewelry trade. He is recognized as a man of unassuming, conservative
