Sheehy, William Clinton, physician and surgeon, was born in New Bedford, December 31, 1868, a son of Michael
and Anna (Parkinson) Sheehy. He attended the public schools of New Bedford and was graduated from the High School
in the class of 1885. In the following year he entered the Boston Institute of Technology and later matriculated
at the University Medical College of the the city of New York, from which he was graduated with the degree of M.
D. in 1889. After graduation he served for one year as interne in a New York hospital and soon thereafter took
up his present practice in New Bedford, being now located at No. 29 Seventh street. Dr. Sheehy is a member of an
old English family, most of the members of which for four generations have been physicians.
