Jordan, Charles E., was born in the town of Thompson, Conn., November 23, 1833. His father, Lorenzo Jordan.
married Sarah B., daughter of Joel Barnes, and settled in the town of North Attleborough, where he was known as
a farmer; he died in September, 1894, in his eighty seventh year. Charles E. Jordan married Mary S., daughter of
Augustus and Lillis G. Haskill Holmes, and they have two sons: William H. and Lorenzo A. Mr. Jordan is one of the
practical and successful farmers of his town, serving as selectman and taking an active interest in school and
church matters, and has ever advanced the best interests of his town and its people.
