John, Kennedy, section 21, Brookfield Township, was born in Ireland, Feb. 19, 1829, and has resided in La Salle
County since 1853. He was married to Miss Mary M. Cabe in 1855. Their children are now able to provide for themselves.
He owns a farm of 240 acres, and controls a farm of 160 acres. He is in politics a Democrat, casting his first
vote for President Pierce.
