Ole H Hanson, farmer and stock raiser, section 15, Adams Township, was born in Norway, Jan. 22, 1827. He was
a son of Hans Olson, a native of Norway, who is now deceased. He came to the United States in 1839, and settled
in La Salle County, and the following spring located in Adams Township, where our subject has since lived. His
father died here about forty years ago. Mr. Hanson was married March 22, 1855, to Miss Isabella Osmonson, a daughter
of Charan Osmonson. They are the parents of six children— Henry M., George M., Emma C., Charles F., Joseph and
Simon. Henry married Miss Julia A. Klove, and lives in Lee County, Ill. He has three children— Ada, Ruby and Orvil.
Emma married Christian Jacobson, and lives at home with her father. Mrs. Hanson died Jan. 29, 1873. Mr. Hanson
has always followed agricultural pursuits, and is the owner of 220 acres. He is a member of the Lutheran church.
