GEORGE C. SCHUSSLER, Postmaster and dealer in general merchandise, was born on his father's farm, Section 28. Bremen Township. He lived there until he was about sixteen years of age, then clerked in a store in Chicago a year, after which he returned to Bremen Village and clerked some time. In 1881 he married Miss Lizzie Weber also a native of Bremen Township. After engaging in farming one year. In December of 1882. he embarked in his present business. January 15, 1883, he took charge of the post office. He is now Road Master, and is serving his first term as Constable of the township.
