DICKER, EDWARD ALFRED. - Born at Stoughton, Norfolk county, Mass,, June 18, 1855. Son of Osmund and Mary A.
(Cotton) Dicker. Parents English, Mr. Dicker came to Chicago in the spring of 1868, and was educated in the schools
of this city, Studied for the law and was admitted to the bar in 1878. Formed a partnership in December, 1882,
with H. M. Matthews. Was appointed a master in chancery in the circuit court of Cook county in December, 1887,
and has continued to hold the office since that date, in religion is a Universalist and in politics a republican.
Was married in 1882 to Miss Jennie E. Woodard, daughter of Hon. Willard Woodard, deceased, and has three children,
Nellie E., William W., and Alfred Osmund. engraving.)
