ANDERSON, FRANKLIN S. - Born in Chicago, August 16, 1860. Son of John and Maria Christine (Frank) Anderson.
Father a Norwegian by birth, and mother an American but of Norwegian and German descent. Subject of sketch received
his education in the Chicago public schools and at the State University of Wisconsin. He is a printer by trade
and is now the vice president and secretary of the John Anderson Publishing Company. He was for five years treasurer
of the Lake View Building and Loan Association; he is treasurer of the Frankfort Land Company, and of the La Grange
Land Association, and is secretary and treasurer of the Columbian Guide Company. He was a member of the Chicago
Hussars, and was for live years a member of Company F, 1st Regiment I. N. G. In religion he is a member of the
English Lutheran Church, and is a republican in politics.
