This is a station on the Wabash Railroad 'in the northern part of Polk Township, eight miles north of Knoxville.
Its history is not materially different from that of other small railroad stations, having grown up since the building
of the road. Two general stores constitute the principal business enterprises. It has no postoffice, the people
in the village and the vicinity receiving mail by rural carrier from the postoffice at Cordova.
