Glenn Wright, proprietor of the popular Benicia garage and local distributor in this territory for the Star, Durant
and Flint automobiles, is a Nebraskan by birth but has been a Californian for the past twenty years. He was born
at Fairbury, February 18, 1888, and was but a child when his parents moved from that town to Omaha. He thus acquired
his education in the schools of the latter city and there became acquainted with the details of butter making and

and the Omaha Cold Storage Company.

the plant of the Benicia branch of the Western Creameries Company of San Francisco. From this place he presently
entered the service of another creamery company, and he was employed in various creameries throughout the state
until 1919, when he returned to Benicia. He has since been engaged in his present line, being the proprietor of
a well equipped garage at the corner of First and F streets and acting as local distributor for the popular makes
of automobiles mentioned above. Since taking up his residence in Benicia Mr. Wright has given his earnest attention
to the general commercial activities of the community and. in 1925 served his second term as president of the Benicia
Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. and Mrs. Wright, the latter of whom is a member of the Passalacqua family, have one child, a daughter, Vynore.
Mr. Wright is a member of the Knights of Pythias, having joined that order at Woodland. He likewise is a member
of Vallejo Lodge No. 559, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, and is also affiliated with the local aerie of the
