ENOCH W. CROZER.
Enoch W. Crozer, the efficient and able manager of the California Telephone & Light Company, at Calistoga,
Napa county, Californian, was born in Alameda, this state, on the 20th of December, 1889. He Secured his elementary
education in the public schools of that city and then attended the California School of Mechanical Arts, in San
Francisco. He next took the course in electrical engineering in the Polytechnic School of Engineering, at Oakland,
from which institution he was graduated in 1912, with the degree of Electrical Engineer. Mr. Crozer then accepted
a position in the electrical department of the cement works at Cowell, Contra Costa county, California, and later
went to work for the Great Western Power Company, in that same county. During the time he was employed there the
United States entered the World war, and he enlisted for service. He was assigned to the ammunition train of the
Sunset Division of the American army in France and spent a year. and a half overseas On his return to civil life
Mr. Crozer went to work for the Pacific Gas & Electric Company at Napa and later was given charge of the power
plant of that company in Benicia, where he remained for three years. In 1923 he came to Calistoga as manager of
the California Telephone & Light Company for this district and is now serving in that capacity.
Mr. Crozer is a member of the Calistoga Rotary Club, the Calistoga post of the American Legion and Calistoga Lodge
No. 233, Free and Accepted Masons. He is deeply interested in the welfare of the city and gives his support to
all measures for the improvement and advancement of the community along all normal lines.
