KENYON, SAMUEL W. Was born in Schuyler County, New York, May 12, 1856. In 1870 he, with his parents, emigrated
to Kansas, and after a residence of about one year returned to Schuyler County, where they resided until 1875.
At this date the subject of this sketch left his parents and came to California. The first six months were spent
at the Great Eastern Quicksilver Mine in Lake County, after which he engaged in farming, which he followed for
about three years. We next find him engaged in the livery business in Lakeport for about six months, when he changed
his residence to Middletown, where he is now engaged in keeping a livery stable. Mr. Kenyon married, June 20, 1878,
Miss Ella Hudson, a native of California, and daughter of David Hudson of Middletown.
